Sometimes, deep down in our very secretive selves, the
inner child will scream out for a hot dog. In our lovely
culinary city of power-house cuisine (Bacchanalia, The
Dining Room at the Ritz, Kevin Rathbun's line up along
Krog Street, Joel, Posh, the Concentric Restaurants, the
Buckhead Dining Group classics, etc...) sometimes you
just want to skip the white linen, and go for a dog.
Da Chicago Dog is a cute and tasty place for a fast dog
on a steamed poppy seed bun... YUM ... love it! :)

Goldberg's Bagel Company and Deli - a few locations
around Atlanta - get the all-beef dog with Sauerkraut
and onions - mmmm (I had one today, in fact)!

The Varsity! (What'll Ya Have?) - always go to the
original location on North Ave for maximum effect of
having stepped back in time. I like my dogs with chili,
rings, an FO, and a fried peach. Don't tell my mother!
My husband's biggest complaint is that they automatically
put mustard on all their chili dogs (fine by me, but he's a
mustard-hater), so be forewarned when you order.
